Elizabeth Ann Summers 1839 - 1924

Elizabeth Ann Woodman was born in 1839 in Coleford, Somerset, England. Her parents were master cordwainer, William Woodman and his wife Elizabeth Payne.

Elizabeth's siblings were John Payne, Francis William, George, Rhoda and Henry James.

Elizabeth worked as a shoe binder while living with her family in Victoria Street, Burnham on Sea, Somerset.

On 13th May 1869, Elizabeth married William Joseph Summers, a builder, in Burnham on  Sea, Somerset.

They had at least two children: Elizabeth Ann Summers born in Islington, London of 17th January 1886 and William born on 7th January 1887.

In 1901, the family were living at 39 Cranmer Road, Lambeth, London and her husband William was a warehouseman.

Elizabeth died on 17th August 1924 and was buried in Heene Cemetery in a service officiated by Rev. Bull.
