Fanny Hunt Nee Saunders 1850 - 1905 Servant and Cook

Fanny Saunders was born in 1850 in Poole, Dorset to John Saunders, and agricultural labourer and his wife Louisa Cobb. She had eight siblings and was working as a domestic servant to the Barnes family in Blandford Forum in 1871.

In late 1871 she had a son, Charles Edward Saunders who was brought up by his grandparents.

She married gardener, Frederick Hunt on 26th December 1881 in Barnes, Surrey.

In 1901, Frederick and Fanny worked for Louisa Cornish as a gardener and cook at Corvil, Heene.

Fanny died in 1905 at Washington House, Rowlands Road Heene and was buried in Heene Cemetery. Louisa Cornish was also buried in Heene Cemetery.
