Life story

Fanny Jenkinson was born in 1846 in Kingsland, Hackney, her parents were Thomas North Jenkinson, 27yrs, Butcher, and Harriet, 24yrs, nee Hunt. She had 4 siblings, Harriet b.1841, Alfred b.1849, George b.1848, and Charles b.1853.

Fanny never married and lived with her family for most of her life, in Hackney, London, and then in Enfield, Middlesex. She appeared to have no occupation and after the death of her parents she moved to Worthing, Sussex, where her older, widowed sister, Harriet lived. In 1931, Fanny lived at 28, St. Matthew's Road, she died on 8th January at 80, Richmond Road, aged 85yrs. Probate was granted to the Public Trustee, effects £1663 3s 8d. Value 2021 - £116K.
