Life story

When Nellie Blann Collier was born on 21 November 1899 in Ifield, Sussex, her father, Henry, was a bricklayer and pavior and her mother was Lucy Ann Leggett. She had five brothers and nine sisters. She died aged one and was buried on 19th February 1901, in Heene Cemetery, by the curate, Rev Lascelles

Nellie's brother, William Henry, was buried in Heene in 1904.
