Western Daily Press – Wednesday 14th April 1920.        Obituary.

We regret to announce the death of Mr. William Ransome, the founder of the Bristol branch of the East London Rubber Company, the large and well-known firm of cycle and motor factors. During Mr. Ransome’s business activities in Bristol he made many friends, who will no doubt be sorry to hear of the passing away of yet another of our grand old business school. When a young man he was a keen racing cyclist and took an interest in cycling and motoring affairs after he came to Bristol.
