Life story

Life story

Violet was born in Worthing, the daughter of William George Hazell and his wife Mary Ann. William was a nurseryman and the family lived at "The Rosery" in Mill Road between West Avenue and Wallace Lane (Avenue). Violet was baptised at her home at midnight on 1st December 1890. She died during the following day. By 1901, the family had moved to "The Briars" in Salvington Road, Worthing.
