George Wright was born in 1825 in Bacton Norfolk, and was the illegitimate son of Martha Wright. He married Ann Read on the 16th July 1848 in Erpingham Norfolk. Ann (born 1825 Mundsley Norfolk) was the Daughter of Richard and Mary Read, Richard worked as an Agricultural Labourer. Ann already had one illegitimate son called Richard Read, born 1845 Mundsley, Norfolk. After they were married George and Ann lived with Ann's Parents at Gardens Yard, Mundsley Norfolk.

George and his family were living in the High Street, Mundsley Norfolk from 1861 where they remained for much of their lives, George worked as an Agricultural Labourer. George's Wife Ann died in 1889 and George stayed in Mundsley until approx. 1921, when he moved with his Daughter Mary to Worthing, where his other Daughter Martha was living with her Husband Christopher Fell (Martha and Christopher Fell are both buried in Heene cemetery). Moving with them was Mary's illegitimate Daughter Ethel and her Husband Herbert King, and their 2 children.
George Wright died in 1921 in Worthing, there doesn't appear to be a probate record for him
