Life story

Son of Joseph Higgs ,  Commander RN, and Mary Craven. The 1911 census shows Sidney Craven was born in Ceylon and also his son Arthur Nevill Craven.

Sydney Craven was born on 23 November 1835 in Sri Lanka. He married Mary Frances Dottin Lang on 26 April 1862. They had four children during their marriage. He died on 4 January 1917 in Worthing, Sussex, having lived a long life of 81 years.
