Life story

Hugh Hemingway was born in December 1881 in Worthing, Sussex. His father, Edward Frederick was Deputy Purveyor to the Forces aged 59 and his mother, Marianne Jane Stockman was 36. He had four brothers and three sisters. He died on 4 April aged 3 months and was buried in Heene Cemetery. His mother Marianne and sister Marianne are also buried in Heene.
