Life story

Lucy Chamberlin was the daughter of Robert Chamberlin Esq. founder of Chamberlin's store, Norwich and Emma Rosetta Lister. Her first marriage was to Sidney Augustus Bazalgette on 13th July 1858 at the Parish Church of Catton Norfolk. 

Lucy and Sidney had five children: Sidney James, Alexander Robert, Rosetta Lucy Hanwell, Louis Hamilton Churchill and Kate. S

Widowed in 1866 she married Rowland Walkey on 3rd August 1876 at Christ Church  C of E Church Plumstead, Kent.  Rowland and Lucy had four children: Violet, Oliver, James and Hyacinth.

Lucy died of diabetes at Canopus, 18 St. Botolph's Church, Worthing.
